| This circuit uses a MFOE76 visible red LED to form a fiber optic transmitter that can operate up to 1MHz. Circuits for both inverting and noninverting are shown. The input is TTL compatible. The 56 ohm resistor provides 50mA of current in the LED. The MFOD76 incorporates a full housing that is designed to take a 1000 micron plastic fiber (Eska SH4001). |
